The Fulbright Commission in Chile was created to promote mutual understanding between both nations, and the main objective is to stimulate study and research through educational exchange. Fulbright Chile is an autonomous, non-profit, apolitical, binational organization that seeks excellence.
The Binational Commission in Chile seeks to select researchers, professionals, and students with leadership potential, both from the United States and Chile, providing them the opportunity to study, teach, and conduct research. The experience of studying in another culture is key to creating a globally educated citizenship that contributes to world peace and economic, social, and cultural development.
The Fulbright Scholarship is awarded not only for recognition of the individual's academic and professional excellence, but also for leadership potential and commitment to their communities. Each year academics and professionals with vision, inspiration and passion are selected to promote the exchange of ideas and learning that makes humanity great.
