What do you do to help other women?

Three years ago, I decided that my firm Eelaw would participate in the Gender Equity Index of PROhumana, a Chilean non-profit organization that seeks to contribute to the promotion of gender equality in the business and organizational context, both public and private, developing the Alliance for Gender Equity. This initiative has given Eelaw the opportunity to establish good practices on issues related to gender equality, which are complemented by the voluntary application of the PROhumana Gender Equity Index, which provides an evaluation and diagnosis to companies to establish goals. and work approaches.

The PROhumana Gender Equity Index in which Eelaw participates is based on the Sustainable Business Strategy Model that contains four indicators and is based on different indicators and national and international regulations that address this issue, such as:

  • Report on Gender Equality in the Workplace (Australia)
  • Chilean Standard 3262-2012: Gender equality and conciliation
  • UN Women Principles for the Empowerment of Women
  • UN Women Gender Gap Analysis Tool
  • Global human rights declarations and conventions
  • Dow Jones Sustainability Index
  • GRI standard
  • Law No. 20,348 on Salary Equity
  • Sustainable business strategy model PROhumana
